چکیده
The main objective of this study is to compare the structural members capacity between different types bridges structures under seismic load. results modal analysis showed that models box girder bridge, precast T and U steel bridge had higher values natural frequency comparing with others Pushover in transvers direction bent No. 2 which was located middle superstructure displaced more than 1 3. In longitudinal direction, Precast I value displacement structures, it maximum displacement. demand ratio critical member demand/capacity 1.0 or near from especially indicating these will be subjected failure 2. Therefore, there needing redesign bents by increasing numbers piers, using high strength materials construction bents, dimensions piers pier caps. internal forces axial force, horizontal shear, bending moment for all structures. Also, can seen models, agree pushover method.

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
New Lateral Force Distribution for Seismic Design of Structures Based on Seismic Demand Ratio
The design of earthquake-resistant buildings starts with defining the maximum lateral earthquake forces or their resultant. The amount of these forces depends on various factors, including coefficient of system behavior which depends on overstrength and its ductility. In this study, a method is presented for designing an earthquake-resistant system in which the distribution of lateral forces is...
متن کاملA COMPARATIVE STUDY OF OPTIMUM AND IRANIAN SEISMIC DESIGN FORCE DISTRIBUTIONS FOR STEEL MOMENT RESISTING BUILDINGS
In this study, constant-ductility optimization algorithm under a family of earthquake ground motions is utilized to achieve uniform damage distribution over the height of steel moment resisting frames (SMRFs). SMRF structures with stiffness-degrading hysteric behavior are modeled as single-bay generic frame in which the plastic hinge is confined only at the beam ends and the bottom of the first...
متن کاملA COMPARATIVE STUDY FOR THE OPTIMAL DESIGN OF STEEL STRUCTURES USING CSS AND ACSS ALGORITHMS
In this article, an Advanced Charged System Search (ACSS) algorithm is applied for the optimum design of steel structures. ACSS uses the idea of Opposition-based Learning and Levy flight to enhance the optimization abilities of the standard CSS. It also utilizes the information of the position of each charged particle in the subsequent search process to increase the convergence speed. The objec...
متن کاملReliability-based Design of Seismic Retrofit for Bridges
This research focused on developing reliability-based seismic retrofit assessment procedures for highway bridge columns. Fragility curves were developed to assess the relative performance of various retrofit methods considering several limit states. Analytical fragility curves are developed from scaled earthquake records and structural response models. A simplified, single-degree-of-freedom (SD...
